Jekyllesque illustrates the intersection of medicine, history, & literature - playing with ways to make the written, visual. Drawing from the tradition of illuminating text, each original piece is hand-painted in acrylic ink & gold leaf.

It is the creation of Katrina Godderz, a formally-trained physician, self-taught artist & armchair medical historian.

She lives and works on the North Island of Aotearoa New Zealand.
